Jenna Fischer has become best well-known as Pam Beesly, the character she played on The Office. For her part, Jenna was honored with two SAG Awards in Outstanding Ensemble Comedy as well as an Emmy Award for the Best Supporting Actress.
Her mother, Anne, performed in church plays while she was a kid and instilled a passion for theater and performances in Jenna. Jenna was a child who watched her mother Anne who was a church performer. The experience instilled a love for theatre.
She's an actress trained who returned to theater after The Office. The Off-Broadway production Reasons to be Happy composed by Neil LaBute with Josh Hamilton and Leslie Bibb as co-stars, Fischer starred. In Steve Martin's most recent production Meteor Shower (an absurdist comedy with Greg Germann & Josh Stamberg), she performed in the record-breaking Old Globe Theatre's world premiere.
In October of 2019, Fischer and The Office cast-mate and real-life best friend Angela Kinsey started the podcast Office Ladies on the Earwolf platform, which has gained immense popularity, settling in the Top Ten globally every week and gaining over 200 million downloads over its initial two years. Office Ladies took home the iHeart Radio Podcast of the Years award in January of 2021.
She's also the co-author of Office BFF's Tales of The Office from Two Best Friends The Office. This memoir is about their friendship and the work they did for The Office.
