Richard B. Cheney, a distinguished public servant and a businessman is the vice-president. Cheney is an established figure within Washington's political world. George W. Bush who is set to become the new chief of state in the U.S. will be Cheney's fourth. Bush decided to choose Cheney as his vice president in July 2000, citing his experience and knowledge. Dick Cheney is a former chief of the staff of a President, he served in Congress and was the secretary of defense. Cheney is a man with integrity and is respected by Republicans as well as Democrats. Cheney said he views his job as a trustworthy but discrete adviser in Bush's administration. Cheney expressed his excitement at being nominated for the Republican vice-presidential nod. Cheney said the future is bright for him working with a person who is able to work together with people of differing political opinions and who share common goals. Richard Bruce Cheney was born in Lincoln Nebraska on January 30 1941 the son of Richard Herbert Cheney and the former Marjorie Lauraine Dickey. When he was 13 years old, he relocated along with his parents into Casper within the Western part of Wyoming, where his father directed the local soil conservation district in the U.S. Department of Agriculture.

As a 2-sport athlete at Brockport she was part in the girls' soccer team as well as the lacrosse team's. Norman is a multi-sport athlete who was a great football player. She played for Brockport on the defense side. Also, she was a great decision-maker when it came time to read the offensive plans of the opposing team.
